I enjoyed this reboot with the improved graphics, GUI and the many places to explore and things to do. Many of the boss fights were made more interesting (requiring some strategy) and have more dialog. Elhioc fight comes to mind.. Its a good game.Its a remake of a remake so if you've played Exile 3 or Avernum 3, you know what to expect and don't need to read any reviews. Its a good reincarnation and is also much more accessible for players who have never touched the series before.Being fair- I don't feel as pressured as I used to when crawling in dungeons trying to ration potions, supplies, Spell points etc, so a lot of dungeons feel smaller than they did 5 or 10 years ago. Pretty good game. The game is great, but I decided to give a bad review just because of this:-If you stop playing for a couple days when you return you will have no idea what you were doing, no idea where to go, you will have a hard time trying to recollect what was going on using the boring black & white journal. When you arrive at a location you will have no idea if it has any relation to any quest. Yes I am tired of having a yellow exclamation and yellow question marks, but the UI in this game is not really helping.So I don't care if the game is good, the battles are nice, the dungeons are awesome, good sound effects, etc, everything in this game is VERY GOOD, but for me, it is impossible to get back in tracks in this game.Eveytime I open this game I start reading and looking the map and I say "f*** this, I won't be enslaved by this poor UI"Then I give up trying to get back in the game.. Absolutely my favorite of the Avernum series. If you're into old-school RPGs then you'll enjoy this little gem for sure. Highly recommended.. Just a few minutes in and so many fantastic memories are coming back from my childhood playing Exile 3! Love this game (and series) so much. Highly recommended.. Well I really enjoyed this game, took me 71 hrs to beat it! a huge world lots to explore, well worth the price. great old school RPG, graphics are simple but work in the context of this kind of game, descriptions of places and events are well done and bring to life what the graphics don't. will be interested to see what kind of games spiderweb will be bringing out with the new game engine that they are working on.. Best game in the series do not overlook this game it is an old school skyrim!
